n Pretloop word jaarliks deur die personeel gereël, waartydens elke leerling ‘n borgvorm ontvang. Die geld wat so ingesamel word, word vir hulpmiddels soos rekenaars en rolstoele aangewend. Toepaslike afstande word afgelê volgens ouderdom en fisiese vermoë.
Die eerste Pretloop is in 1984 in die omgewing van die skool gehou. Daarna het dit al by Joostenbergvlakte, Jonkershoek en Seepunt plaasgevind. Daar is ook verskeie jare strandlangs vanaf Table View tot by Melkbosstrand gestap.
Every year the staff organizes a fun walk, where every child receives a sponsor form. The funds collected are used to buy equipment such as computers and wheelchairs. Walking distances are determined by the child’s age and physical ability.
The first fun walk was held in 1984 in the area around the school. Fun walks have also been held at Joostenbergvlakte, Jonkershoek, Sea Point and along the beach between Table View and Melkbosstrand.
The fun walk is one of the school’s major events and is enjoyed by one and all.
