Die kinders neem deel aan:

  • Interskole / Interklubkompetisies
  • W.P. Kampioenskappe vir Fisies Gestremdes
  • S.A. Kampioenskappe vir Fisies Gestremdes

Benewens die skool se interhuisbyeenkoms, neem gestremde atlete van 12 jaar en ouer (wat geklassifiseer is) deel aan ‘n Interskole / Interklub atletiek / fietsrybyeenkoms, en dan op uitnodiging aan die W.P. Kampioenskappe vir Gestremdes. ‘n W.P. span word hierna gekies om deel te neem aan die S.A. Kampioenskappe vir Gestremdes.

Elke jaar ontvang baie van ons atlete medaljes en behaal rekords in atletiek, fietsry en swem by die S.A. Nasionale Kampioenskappe.  Ons leerders neem ook deel en presteer op nasionale vlak in sokker, rolstoelbasketbal en rolstoeldanse.

Ons skoolverlaters het sukses behaal deur Suid-Afrika te verteenwoordig in fietsry by die Paralimpiese Spele in 2004 en 2008.

Disabled

The following sport codes are offered and coached at the school:

  • Golf (New)
  • ‘Jukskei’
  • Hocker
  • Swimming
  • Table tennis
  • Wheelchair Ballroom dancing
  • Wheelchair Basketball

The learners participate in the following:

  • Inter-school /Inter-club competitions
  • W.P. Championships for Physically Disabled
  • S.A. National Championships for Physically Disabled

In addition to the school’s inter-house athletics meeting, the disabled learners (12 years and older who have been classified) participate in an Inter-school / Inter-club athletics / cycling competition and may be invitated to the W.P. Championships for the Disabled. 

Each year many of our athletes receive medals and break records for athletics, cycling and swimming at the S.A. National Championships.  Our learners also compete and excel at national level in soccer, wheelchair basketball and wheelchair dance.

Our ex learners have achieved success by representing South Africa in cycling at the Paralympic Games in 2004 and 2008.
